iSkydive San Diego operates out of Brown Field Airport, 6810 Curran St, San Diego, CA 92154, in the Otay Mesa neighborhood, about 13 miles and 25 minutes from downtown San Diego.
Close. Brown Field sits about 1.5 miles north of the US-Mexico border. It doesn’t change anything about your booking or the jump itself, but it does mean the border region is part of the wider view on a clear day.
Imperial Beach, the Coronado Bridge, Coronado Island, and the downtown San Diego skyline.
Yes. San Diego’s beaches, the Zoo, and Balboa Park draw visitors year-round, and a jump pairs naturally with a weekend trip since the drop zone is about 25 minutes from downtown.
Yes. As one of the largest Navy and military communities in the country, San Diego sees a lot of active-duty and veteran jumpers, and iSkydive offers a student/military discount on media packages.
Yes. iSkydive San Diego runs dedicated birthday jump and marriage proposal packages, with the coastline and Coronado Bridge as the backdrop for photos and video.
It can, though less than most other locations. San Diego’s climate is mild and consistent nearly year-round, with an occasional morning marine layer that can delay a jump until it clears. Delays can also happen due to air traffic control or aircraft maintenance. We do our best to notify you at least two hours before your scheduled time, but sometimes changes happen last minute. We always build some buffer time into the 2 to 4 hour experience window.
Yes. There’s an extra fee for guests over 200 pounds, and the maximum weight limit is 240 pounds. All clothing and gear count toward total weight, and everyone is weighed on arrival. Weight and equipment limits are set by manufacturer specifications and FAA guidelines, not by iSkydive.
