iSkydive Dallas Fort Worth operates out of Ennis Municipal Airport, 100 Airport Dr, Ennis, TX 75119, about 30 minutes south of downtown Dallas. It’s the closest tandem skydiving center to both Dallas and Fort Worth.
From altitude you’ll see the downtown Dallas skyline, Bardwell Lake, and wide-open North Texas countryside stretching out below.
Ennis was named the Official Bluebonnet City of Texas and Official Bluebonnet Trail of Texas by the state legislature in 1997. Every April, the Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival draws around 100,000 visitors to 40 miles of wildflower driving trails through town, a nice bonus if you’re booking a spring jump.
DFW Airport is about 56 miles away, roughly an hour by car. If you’re flying in specifically for the jump, plan for that drive on top of your flight time.
Yes. iSkydive offers dedicated birthday jump and marriage proposal packages at this location, with the Dallas skyline as a backdrop for photos and video.
Light, breathable athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes. North Texas summers regularly hit the upper 90s and above, so hydrate before you arrive and skip anything heavy. You’ll feel the heat more waiting on the ground than during the jump itself.
It can. North Texas sees severe thunderstorms and high winds most often in spring, which can ground jumps for a stretch, and summer heat adds its own delays. Delays can also happen due to air traffic control or aircraft maintenance. We do our best to notify you at least two hours before your scheduled time, but sometimes changes happen last minute. We always build some buffer time into the 2 to 4 hour experience window.
Yes. There’s an extra fee for guests over 200 pounds, and the maximum weight limit is 240 pounds. All clothing and gear count toward total weight, and everyone is weighed on arrival. Weight and equipment limits are set by manufacturer specifications and FAA guidelines, not by iSkydive.
